X-chat: The "Official Build" of X-chat in Windows is shareware and costs $20 after a 30-day trial period. Since it is licensed under the GPL and the charge might be in violation of that license--a large number of Unofficial Windows builds of X-Chat have become available. Click here for a chart comparing many of the available builds in Windows (Warning: this page is on a very slow server). You can click on any of the names of the builds at the top of the chart in order to link to that build's info page and from there a download link for it. Here is a link to the Wikipedia Article on X-chat for more information. Note: I was using the Pu7o build of Win X-chat during the 6-26-2006 Monday chat session when it crashed on me after about 20 minutes of use. I would therefore suggest that you try one of the other builds that can be found at the link above--Norm.
